Summary

This study tested whether a therapy delivered by phone and home visits, which combines treatment for depression with physical rehabilitation, is practical and helpful for people who survived acute respiratory failure in the ICU. Fifty-two adults who lived at home before their hospital stay took part. The goal was to see if this combined approach could improve both mental and physical recovery.
