Summary
This study will test whether raising the head of the bed to 15 degrees reduces the chance of low oxygen levels during painless (sedated) gastroscopy and colonoscopy. About 400 adults will be randomly assigned to either a flat or slightly raised position. The goal is to see if this simple change improves breathing safety during the procedure.
