Summary
This trial tests whether a high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) can maintain oxygen levels better than a tight face mask during rapid sequence induction, a procedure used for emergency intubation. Adult patients needing intubation will be randomly assigned to receive preoxygenation with either HFNC or a tight face mask.
