Summary

This study tests whether adding canned navy beans to your daily diet can improve gut bacteria and lower obesity-related cancer risk. About 71 adults who are overweight and have a history of colorectal polyps or cancer will eat beans for 8 weeks. Researchers will check changes in stool and blood markers to see if beans help protect against colorectal cancer.
