Summary
This study tested a drug called barzolvolimab in 86 adults with active eosinophilic esophagitis, a condition that causes swallowing problems due to inflammation in the esophagus. Participants received either the drug or a placebo to see if it could reduce symptoms and signs of inflammation. The goal was to find a new treatment option for people who struggle with this chronic condition.
