Summary
This study tested the drug baricitinib, currently used for arthritis, in 17 people with Alzheimer's disease, ALS, or early memory problems. The goal was to see if the drug could reach the brain and reduce inflammation linked to these diseases. Participants took the drug for 24 weeks, and researchers measured inflammatory markers in their spinal fluid.
