First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a man's genetic profile can help doctors decide who should be screened for prostate cancer. About 300 men aged 55-69 will have their genes checked and those with higher genetic risk will be offered a prostate biopsy. The goal is to see if this approach finds more cancers and reduces unnecessary tests.
