Could less lymph node surgery be safer for High-Risk prostate cancer?

NCT ID NCT07580196

First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study looks at men with high-risk prostate cancer that appears on only one side of the prostate. It compares removing lymph nodes from just that side versus both sides during robotic prostate surgery. The goal is to see if the less extensive surgery causes fewer complications while still controlling the cancer just as well. About 820 men will take part to help doctors decide the best approach.
