This study tests whether adding special balance exercises to a standard workout of walking and strength training can improve balance and physical fitness in overweight and obese adults. Forty participants will be randomly assigned to either a standard exercise program or one that also includes balance drills. Both groups will exercise three times a week for eight weeks, and researchers will measure changes in balance, walking ability, and quality of life.
