First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding Babao Dan Capsule (a traditional Chinese medicine) to standard antiviral treatment can lower the chance of developing liver cancer in people with hepatitis B-related cirrhosis who are at high risk. About 1,034 adults aged 18-65 with a specific TCM syndrome and high aMAP score will be followed for 96 weeks. The goal is to see if the combination reduces liver cancer cases compared to placebo.
