Robot pump aims to tame blood sugar in High-Risk dialysis patients

NCT ID NCT06330194

Summary

This study tested a new automated insulin delivery system for people with diabetes who also have advanced kidney disease or are on dialysis. The goal was to see if this 'artificial pancreas' system could better control blood sugar levels compared to usual care. Fifteen participants tried the system for eight weeks, and researchers measured how much time their blood sugar stayed in a healthy range.
