First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a next-generation automated insulin delivery system in 48 adults with type 2 diabetes aged 16–70. The goal was to see if the smart algorithm could keep blood sugar in a safer range, reducing both low and high blood sugar events. Participants used a continuous glucose monitor and insulin pump. The results help improve daily diabetes management, but the condition still requires ongoing care.
