Summary

This study tested a device called the Atrial Flow Regulator (AFR) in 32 people with severe pulmonary hypertension, a condition of high blood pressure in the lungs. The device creates a small, controlled hole in the heart to relieve pressure. The main goal was to check safety and see if the device works to control the disease.
