Summary

This study compares atogepant and topiramate, two daily pills used to prevent migraines, to see which one people tolerate better. About 545 adults with frequent migraines (at least 4 per month) will take one of the two drugs for 24 weeks, then all eligible participants will receive atogepant for another year. The main focus is on how many people stop treatment due to side effects, with a secondary look at whether migraine days drop by half or more.
