First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether a self-applied cream (5-fluorouracil) can help clear HPV infections after a standard procedure (thermal ablation) in women with HIV in Kenya. About 140 women will use either the cream or a placebo every other week for 6 months. The goal is to see if the cream improves HPV clearance and is safe and easy to use.
