First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether smelling lavender essential oil can improve sleep in women aged 60 and older who are in the hospital and have trouble sleeping. Sixty-four participants will either receive lavender aromatherapy or a placebo, and their sleep quality will be measured using a standard insomnia scale. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug approach is effective and safe.
