Apple cider vinegar: surprising new weapon against kidney stones?

Summary

This study will test whether taking apple cider vinegar every day for a short time changes the chemistry of urine in adults, both those with a history of calcium oxalate kidney stones and healthy volunteers. Researchers will measure levels of citrate, pH, calcium, and calcium oxalate in urine to see if ACV might help prevent stones. The study plans to enroll 30 participants and is not yet recruiting.
