First seen Dec 11, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app helps cancer patients take their oral medications more consistently than a traditional paper diary. A total of 124 adults with solid tumors or blood cancers were randomly assigned to use either an electronic diary or a paper diary to track their pills. The main goal was to see if the app improved how well patients followed their prescribed oral therapy.
