Could a new blood thinner be safer after valve surgery?

Summary
This study compares two blood thinners, apixaban and warfarin, in 120 adults with atrial fibrillation who recently had heart valve repair or replacement. The goal is to see if apixaban causes less major bleeding while still preventing blood clots. Participants will be followed for three months after surgery.
