Summary

This study tests a single dose of an experimental drug called apimostinel, which may work quickly to improve depression symptoms with few side effects. Some participants will also do a computer-based cognitive training exercise to see if it helps the drug's effects last longer. The trial involves 150 adults aged 18–60 with major depressive disorder, comparing the drug to a placebo.
