Summary
This study tested a special phone-based therapy program designed to help manage anxiety in older adults with cancer and their primary family caregivers. It compared this therapy to usual care to see if it could better reduce anxiety and improve emotional well-being. The program was created specifically for people aged 65 and older and involved both the patient and their caregiver working together.
