Blood thinners and baby hopes: new study investigates uterine health

NCT ID NCT07494877

First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether blood-thinning medications (like aspirin or heparin) can improve the uterine lining and pregnancy rates in women struggling with infertility. Researchers will use special ultrasound scans to measure the womb's thickness, blood flow, and movement in about 300 women aged 20 to 45. The study is purely observational, meaning doctors will prescribe treatments as usual, and the research team will simply track the results.
