Could common antibiotics help fight oral cancer?
NCT ID NCT06627270
Summary
This study is testing whether giving antibiotics and a special mouthwash before surgery can reduce the amount of bacteria inside oral cancer tumors. Researchers want to see if lowering these bacteria helps the body's immune system fight the cancer better. The trial involves 30 patients who will take the antibiotics for 10 days before their scheduled cancer surgery.
