Animated videos in 25 languages aim to ease retinal surgery anxiety

Summary
This study tests if short animated videos, available in 25 languages, can help people better understand retinal detachment surgery and aftercare. About 600 adults will either get standard counseling alone or counseling plus a video in their preferred language. Researchers will measure changes in knowledge, anxiety, and how well patients follow post-surgery instructions.
