Eye surgery showdown: one operation or two for retinal detachment?

Summary
This study looks at the best way to fix a detached retina, a serious eye problem that can cause vision loss. It compares having two separate surgeries (vitrectomy first, then cataract surgery later) versus doing both at the same time. About 276 adults aged 50 and older with retinal detachment will take part to see which approach gives better vision and fewer complications.
