NCT ID NCT07357987

First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a clot-busting drug called tenecteplase directly into the brain's arteries can help people recover better after a stroke caused by a medium-sized blockage. About 488 adults who have had a stroke within the last 24 hours will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or standard care. The main goal is to see if more people can live independently (with little or no disability) 90 days after treatment.
