Could a placental implant ease arthritic fingers?

Summary
This study tests a sterile implant made from donated umbilical cord tissue for people with painful arthritis in the finger joint. The implant is placed between the bones to cushion the joint. The goal is to reduce pain and improve hand function. About 14 adults who have not improved with standard treatments will be followed for 12 months.
