Could a baby's cord membrane soothe arthritic fingers?

Summary

This study tests a sterile implant made from donated umbilical cord tissue to treat osteoarthritis in the finger's middle joint. About 14 adults with persistent pain despite medication will receive the implant during a minor procedure. The goal is to reduce pain and improve hand function over 12 months.
