New drug could ease bulging eyes in thyroid disease

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called AMG 732 for people with moderate-to-severe active thyroid eye disease, a condition that can cause bulging eyes and discomfort. The trial has two parts: first, healthy volunteers receive a single dose to check safety; second, people with the disease get multiple doses to see if it reduces eye bulging. About 88 participants will take part, and the drug is given as an injection under the skin.
