New injection aims to fix torn knee cartilage, reduce repeat surgeries

Summary
This study is testing if an experimental injection called AM3101 can help knee meniscus tears heal better after surgical repair. About 74 adults aged 18-40 with a meniscus tear will receive either the AM3101 injection or a placebo (saltwater) during their repair surgery. Researchers will use MRI scans one year later to see if the tear healed better and will monitor for any side effects.
