Summary
This study tested a one-year support program for Veterans diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or traumatic brain injury and their family caregivers. The program aimed to improve the quality of life for both the Veteran and the caregiver while reducing the stress and burden felt by the caregiver. It was compared against standard primary care to see if the extra support made a difference.
