New brain scan study aims to uncover Tau's role in memory loss

Summary
This study uses a special PET scan to look at tau protein buildup in the brain and see if it relates to memory and thinking problems. Researchers will study 900 adults, some with normal memory and some with mild dementia. The goal is to better understand Alzheimer's disease, not to test a treatment.
