First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests a new dye, AMDX-2011P, given through a vein to see if it can safely highlight Alzheimer's-related amyloid in the retina. 25 adults with confirmed Alzheimer's will receive one dose and have their eyes imaged. The goal is to develop a simpler, less invasive way to diagnose Alzheimer's using an eye scan instead of a brain PET scan.
