Fasting during chemo: a new way to ease side effects?
NCT ID NCT05990426
First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether fasting every other day can reduce the harsh side effects of chemotherapy and improve quality of life for women with ovarian, endometrial, or uterine cancer. About 30 women who have had surgery and are about to start chemotherapy will either follow an alternate-day fasting plan or eat normally. Researchers will track how well participants stick to the fasting plan and whether it helps with treatment side effects.
