Summary

This study follows 852 adults with liver cirrhosis who are scheduled for a TIPS procedure, a shunt placed to reduce high blood pressure in the liver. Researchers will collect information from standard care to learn how to best use TIPS and manage its side effects. The goal is to answer important questions about when and how to use TIPS to improve patient outcomes.
