First seen Jun 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested a new PET imaging tracer to see if it can safely show signs of ALS in the body. Eight people (some healthy, some with ALS) received the tracer and were scanned. The goal was to check safety and how the tracer spreads, which could lead to earlier diagnosis and better tracking of the disease.
