Ultrasound peek: does breathing help help ALS diaphragms?

Summary
This study uses ultrasound to see how non-invasive ventilation (a breathing mask) changes diaphragm movement in 20 people with ALS. Researchers will compare diaphragm motion with and without the ventilator. The goal is to better understand how the ventilator affects breathing muscles, not to treat or cure ALS.
