Wearable sensors track ALS progression in real life

NCT ID NCT04882904

Summary

This study aims to understand how ALS affects daily movement by having patients wear a sensor device for one month after each clinic visit. Researchers will track walking speed, stride length, and arm function in about 20 ALS patients over a year. The goal is to gather detailed information about how the disease progresses in everyday life, not to test a treatment.
