Supplement combo shows promise for male fertility
NCT ID NCT07455890
First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether taking alpha-lipoic acid plus CoenzymeQ10 for 3 months improves sperm movement better than CoenzymeQ10 alone in 40 men with unexplained low sperm motility. Participants took either the combination or CoQ10 alone daily. The main goal was to see if the combination increases the percentage of moving sperm. Results may help men with fertility issues, but the treatment is not a cure and ongoing management may be needed.
