Summary

This study tests a new drug, ALKS 2680, to see if it safely reduces excessive daytime sleepiness in people with idiopathic hypersomnia, a condition causing severe sleepiness without clear cause. About 96 adults will take either the drug or a placebo for 8 weeks. The main goal is to measure changes in sleepiness using a standard questionnaire.
