First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study compares two intravenous fluids—human albumin and normal saline—to see which better resolves acute kidney injury in people with decompensated cirrhosis. About 114 adults with moderate to severe kidney injury will receive either treatment. The main goal is to see if albumin helps kidneys recover faster without needing dialysis.
