Scientists hunt for Pollution's fingerprint in Patients' bodies
NCT ID NCT06800586
Summary
This study aims to understand how air pollution causes serious diseases like lung cancer, COPD, and leukemia. Researchers will compare pollution levels found in the bodies of 300 non-smoking patients with these conditions to levels in healthy volunteers. The goal is to find new biological markers that could help detect pollution-related harm earlier and potentially lead to ways to slow or stop disease development.
