This study tested whether using portable air cleaners (air purifiers) for 4 weeks could improve blood sugar control and reduce inflammation in 150 adults with prediabetes. Participants wore a continuous glucose monitor and gave blood samples to measure changes. The goal was to see if cleaning indoor air helps manage prediabetes and lower related health risks.
