AI heart scan aims to replace invasive wire test
NCT ID NCT07329699
Summary
This study is testing if a new, faster AI-powered scan can guide heart stent placement as well as the current standard test, which requires inserting a special wire into the heart's arteries. It will involve about 2,100 adults with clogged heart arteries. The goal is to see if the AI method leads to similar rates of heart-related complications, like heart attacks, as the traditional method.
