AI steps in to help spot brain emergencies faster

NCT ID NCT06018545

Summary

This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool could help doctors and radiographers read emergency brain CT scans more accurately and quickly. Thirty-three clinicians reviewed 150 scans, some with and some without the AI's help, to see if it improved their speed, confidence, and ability to spot problems like bleeding or stroke. The goal is to see if such tools can improve patient care in busy hospital emergency departments.
