AI spots lung cancer risk in routine chest X-Rays

Summary

This study tests an AI tool that looks at routine chest X-rays and medical records to find people at high risk for lung cancer. The tool alerts their doctor to discuss lung cancer screening CT. The goal is to see if this alert increases the number of high-risk patients who get screened within 6 months. About 1,500 current or former smokers aged 50-77 will take part.
