This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool could help doctors diagnose rare and tricky skin conditions like generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP). Fifteen doctors, including both general practitioners and dermatologists, looked at 100 skin images. They first gave their diagnosis without AI help, then saw the AI's suggestions and could change their answer. The goal was to see if the AI improved diagnostic accuracy, especially for rare diseases that are often missed.
