Summary
This study tested whether an AI scribe that listens to doctor-patient conversations can reduce doctor burnout and improve patient satisfaction. 139 doctors and advanced practice providers from primary care, oncology, and urology were randomly assigned to use the AI scribe or continue usual care. The study measured burnout, workload, and time spent on medical records over 150 days.
