NCT ID NCT07728929
First seen Jul 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This trial compares AI-supported case analysis with traditional instructor-led teaching for second-year nursing students. The goal is to see whether learning with artificial intelligence boosts students' knowledge, satisfaction, and clinical decision-making skills. Forty-two students will be randomly assigned to one of two teaching methods, and their outcomes will be measured using tests and surveys.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- AI-supported case analysis
- What this could lead to
- If effective, AI-supported case analysis could become a new tool for nursing education, enhancing students' clinical reasoning and satisfaction.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, single-center study with only 42 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The AI tool's impact on real-world clinical skills remains uncertain.
