AI maps heart's faulty signals to boost AFib treatment

NCT ID NCT06935591

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding an AI-powered heart mapping system (vMap) to the standard ablation procedure helps treat atrial fibrillation (AF) better than ablation alone. About 423 adults with persistent or recurrent AF will be randomly assigned to either standard treatment or standard treatment plus vMap guidance. The main goal is to see if more people stay free of AF for 12 months after the procedure.
