Your phone could soon screen your heart

NCT ID NCT07396792

Summary

This study aims to develop a new screening tool for heart and related diseases. Researchers will use a smartphone-compatible device to record a simple, 1-minute heart rhythm reading from 5,000 participants. They will then use artificial intelligence to see if patterns in this reading can accurately identify conditions like heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes, and kidney disease.
